Power Board for XR-77A80J Fixed!
I found this shop on YouTube and sent in the power supply board for my XR-77A80J Sony TV, which was giving me 4 blinking red lights. They communicated well about receiving the board and fixing it, providing great detail about what they did when I asked. The 2-day shipping I paid extra for didn't really happen but it's a small quibble! Overall, fantastic service and my TV is working like new--perhaps better than new with the new resistors and thermal paste! Thank you to Nick and the rest of the team! I wouldn't have a 77" OLED TV without them!

Trust me, i am the worst type of customer. I ask too many questions, i trust no one, i call and email about updates, i grill companies on the components and procedures they use. I promise you, ive done all these things with Nicks Electronics, and other options, and you arent getting anything safer/better, anywhere else. Elite materials, elite procedures, elite installation/cleaning equipment. The price should be higher. As the title reads, just send it in. I usually prefer to look into DIY solutions when I have an opportunity to save money on a repair. YouTube led me to at least 4 videos from Nick’s that gave me insight into my exact model of TV when it stopped working. From there, I was able to open up the back of the TV, put a multi-meter across the outputs on the power board and determine the problem with my TV was in the power board, and not the main board or TCon board. I shipped the power board to Nick’s and had it back within a few days, good as new. Communication was superb along the way. I received updates after each step. The return packaging was excellent, and within minutes of opening the box, I had the board installed and my TV fired up just like nothing ever happened, and for a very reasonable fee. Thanks Nick and crew! Best electronic repair service ever!
