I thought my One Connect box was dead forever, Nick's Electronic Repair diagnosed the box, fixed it and shipped it back to me. Great service and really good communication. Would highly recommend.

I am very sorry to hear this has happened. According to the tracking, the package was delivered 4 days after your order to a mailbox. With that said, it's possible the courrier made a mistake.

Our Vizio P65-E1 TV started boot-looping, then stopped powering on altogether. I found a video from Nick's Electronic Repair on YouRube that described the exact symptoms the TV was exhibiting and also provided clear instructions showing how to remove the mainboard (which had likely failed).
The process of sending the mainboard to Nick's Electronic Repair for repair was very straightforward, and the $150 price was very reasonable - especially compared to buying a comparable new TV. I was also very pleasantly surprised at the great customer service during the repair process. Nick's is very thorough and we got an update at every step in the repair process - from when the damaged mainboard arrived to when the repaired & tested board was sent back to us. It's very refreshing to get that level of communication from a shop these days! The repaired mainboard worked great when I installed it.
Sadly, this repair story doesn't really have a happy ending. The newly repaired Vizio TV ended up getting damaged beyond repair a few days later during installation of a new TV stand (note to self: check for hard objects under the blanket *before* laying the TV face down on it!). I contacted NIck's to see if I could return the repaired mainboard, and they were gracious enough to consider a refund of the repair. The technician I worked with (Richard) was very helpful and responsive - extra kudos to Nick's for a good customer service beyond their obligations.
I'm very pleased to see shops like Nick's out there supporting DIYers like myself - both to save money and to help keep devices from going to e-waste. I would happily use their services again in the future.
