The repair worked, the control board is re-installed and the appliance is back to normal with a nice bright display!
I bought a refurbished 77" Sony OLED in 2022 with a 3 year protection plan. The price I paid (plus coverage) was a really good deal and the TV arrived in excellent shape and worked flawlessly for many years. Then in September of 2025, the protection plan expired and in January of 2026, the TV stopped working. I would turn the TV on, but then the power indicator would only come on briefly, then I would get 4 RED BLINKS that would loop over and over. No video or sound at all. Being based in El Paso, Texas, I called around local TV repair shops and was very disappointed at what my home town had to offer. Mostly everyone wanted me to bring in the TV, which being a 77" OLED, was going to be quite an inconvenient task. Another place offered house calls, but made it very clear that they only accepted personal check, cash or Zelle. They refused to accept any form or credit card and I was getting quoted prices ranging from $300 to $500 with no more than a 30 to 90 day guarantee! I decided to go to YouTube and see if there was any hope or information on getting my 77" OLED to come back to life. I came across the Nick's video repair where he actually showed the EXACT problem I was experiencing, with the EXACT brand of TV and the EXACT model # !!!! I watched the video and realized this could potentially be the most affordable option without having to actually bring in the large TV to a repair center. The video showed how to easily take off the back panel and which circuit board to remove. I ordered the repair service online and even upgraded the warranty on the repair to 2 years. After shipping out the circuit board to Tucson, I received email updates every step of the way. Package receipt, diagnostic phase, circuit board failure confirmation, repair status, repair completion and then finally tracking #. When the repaired circuit board arrived, it was packed very well! I placed it back into my TV and crossed my fingers as I turned my Sony OLED back on. Hallelujah !!! It's ALIVE!!!! Words alone cannot describe how happy I was to see and hear my beloved SONY 77" OLED come back to life! These guys are the real deal!! I couldn't be happier with this repair service experience. Exelent customer service! Exelent communtcation! I was updated every step of the process. When I had called them about the repair before sending to them they were very friendly and had the answers I needed.
