I found this shop on YouTube and sent in the power supply board for my XR-77A80J Sony TV, which was giving me 4 blinking red lights. They communicated well about receiving the board and fixing it, providing great detail about what they did when I asked. The 2-day shipping I paid extra for didn't really happen but it's a small quibble! Overall, fantastic service and my TV is working like new--perhaps better than new with the new resistors and thermal paste! Thank you to Nick and the rest of the team! I wouldn't have a 77" OLED TV without them!

Sent in a power board for a 77 inch Sony TV. Their ticketing system was great and kept me updated every step of the way. Installed the board and the TV works again!! Highly recommend

Unfortunately refurbished power board did not resolve the 4 red flash LED problem on Sony XR77a80j.

Great communication prior to shipping power board. Emailed Nick’s with symptoms - after factory reset, get Sony logo, Google TV logo, Welcome screen and can get to setup but powers off after about 15 seconds and returns to the 4 red flashes. This process is repeatable.

Sent power board to Nick’s and it tested ok. Again, great communication, was offered different options including return of board with minimal cost. Decided to have the working board refurbished just in case.

Quick turn around time. Received refurbished board back within a couple days but same problem .

Summary:
Nick’s was great on communication prior, during and post work.
Great options to refurbish board and quick on turning it around.
I would definitely use nick’s again.

Going to trash the 1.5 year old Sony and replace with LG that has 5 year warranty.

I usually prefer to look into DIY solutions when I have an opportunity to save money on a repair. YouTube led me to at least 4 videos from Nick’s that gave me insight into my exact model of TV when it stopped working. From there, I was able to open up the back of the TV, put a multi-meter across the outputs on the power board and determine the problem with my TV was in the power board, and not the main board or TCon board. I shipped the power board to Nick’s and had it back within a few days, good as new. Communication was superb along the way. I received updates after each step. The return packaging was excellent, and within minutes of opening the box, I had the board installed and my TV fired up just like nothing ever happened, and for a very reasonable fee. Thanks Nick and crew! Best electronic repair service ever!
