I was skeptical when i saw the internet offer of an on-line repair service. I called and was impressed with the way my questions were handled and the whole ordering process was made easy. When the board was being repaired I was sent numerous regular updates on the stage of repair and so forth, and finally the speedy return to me of the repaired board. Once installed the TV came right up! I couldn’t be happier.
Recommending Nick's Electronic Repair is easy, they brought back my TV from the dead. The decision to repair an item like a TV is more complicated; you should know that the use of a third party streamer like Apple's ATV is essential, because the repair permanently disrupts the ability of the built-in operating system (OS) to deliver streaming content. Since the built-in OS is terrible, this is in my view no loss at all. A larger issue is whether it is wise to repair a piece of electronics when the reason the repair is necessary is because the company that built it has already abandoned its customers. But until manufacturers are required by law to behave responsibly, which is likely never, I am happy to have Nick's Electronic Repair to call on in my hour of need.
