Resolved DTC P0606 and P0638 on a 2007 Saab 93 2.0 with 175k miles. Car was built for the North American market. Initial failure presented as a misfire, knock and then only drive with a lack of power in a limp mode. Course of a few days.
No more codes, and I am fairly sure it starts quicker easier and has more power.
I’m confident in the repair, and believe it will be lasting repair from what I have seen of their work.
Price as reasonable considering the complexity and special equipment needed for the repair. I have repaired a lot of electronics, and this was not possible for a diy. P
The bad is it was a lengthy turn around time. Thankfully it’s not my only car. Mailing took 5 days from New York State and return time was about the same. Beyond Nicks control, so no dusky there. I understand the time the repair takes due to all the nuances of workflow and that it isn’t a 6 hour turn around, and the many circumstances around labor, and ques. Infact I didn’t even send them what faults I had so there was prob a delay from that as well. If I had s another Saab I would certainly send them this item when it breaks despite the turn around time. I intend to use them in the future for television repair. Very professional experience with all communications. Having this repair was the best option, a replacement used one is prob more likely to fail than this one post repair IMO. And seeing as lovely GM dosent sell this item as new anymore, despite it being very failure prone, likely sending many more of these cars to the junkyard prematurely. (Keeping used cars in the road for an affordable price is also a green option) thank you for the quality work.
