I would give Nick's 100 stars. I found Nick's via youtube. I sent my power board in for repair... the TV was completely dead. They quickly determined it was good and refunded my money for the repair and charged only a minor bench test fee of $20. Ben, who did the test, asked me to send them the control board as they expected it to be malfunctioning. Upon receipt of the control board, they quickly confirmed the problem and repaired the board in about 2 days. Diagnostic and repair service was fast and effective. Communication was excellent as well with messages and status available in their portal with updates at each stage of the repair... receipt, diagnostic, repair, return shipping, etc. I would not think twice about choosing Nick's. Sony's warranty service was useless, they wanted my to just buy another tv - said they could not fix it after the original warranty expired.... after some research I found Nick's. They fixed it.... and fixed it fast for $200 versus spending another $4k for the replacement TV which was less than 3 years old.
They did a good job but I think they forgot to ship it when it was done, I had to remind them to ship it back to me twice

I do opologize for the delay in shipping. We did indeed have a hiccup on our end which caused delays. We have identified the mistake and have taken steps to ensure it does not happen again.

Although my purchase was adequately protected, it suffered a rather dreadful fate during transit. Package was damaged outside of sellers control resulting in product damage. Seller quickly replaced the item and had it sent out the next day. The new item arrived in perfect condition and is fully functional.
