A note regarding ordering from Canada, there are duty charges in the order of approximately 25% which was expected.
This power supply repair kit for the Vizio P702UI-B3 (part number 09-70CAR040-00 1P-1146801-1011) successfully resolved the "no power" or "black screen" issue on a Vizio TV.
I simply followed the diagnostic and repair guide from Nick's YouTube video.
The process involved:
Ordering the specific capacitor replacement kit.
Removing the power supply board from the TV chassis.
De-soldering, replacing 14 old capacitors, carefully observing positive and negative polarity and resoldering the capasitors to the board.
Reinstalling the repaired board into the TV.
The repair was successful, restoring the TV to full working order.
My fiance, she noticed an unexpected improvement in picture quality (clearer and sharper) after the fix. Thank you Nick for providing the necessary guidance YouTube video and the effective parts kit.
